ABOUT StudioTED

I am a registered Architect with over 16 years experience of commercial and domestic projects.

I have for my career to date, been based in Scotland and London, involved in the design and construction of many different types of buildings from Airports to Sports Stadia, Schools to Residential.

 

I have also experienced the joy and unheaval of extending our family home - and can appreciate the concerns, reservations and reward that comes with realising a vision.

So I have taken the leap of faith, forming my own business - concentrating on domestic projects from small single storey extensions to one off houses. The business focus is on family and how families use the space they have and how rethinking your home and spaces can add to quality interactions and flexible future proof living.

 

After many hours of family discussions, the name ‘StudioTED’ won out (evolving from anograms of the names of my daughters whose names begin with the letters T & D)... and quickly developed into Ted.

It just so happens that our dog's name is Ted also!! A true reflection of the family that motivates my studio.
